Solarvance is committed to delivering reliable and high-quality solar products and systems. Warranty coverage is provided in accordance with the terms specified below.
1. Warranty Scope
This warranty applies to products supplied by Solarvance and used under normal operating conditions in accordance with:
- Approved product datasheets and technical specifications
- Proper installation and commissioning procedures
- Intended application and environmental conditions
The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship only, unless otherwise specified.
2. Solarvance-Branded Products Warranty
For Solarvance-branded components, including but not limited to solar charge controllers, photovoltaic modules, inverters, and battery systems, warranty terms are provided directly by Solarvance.
2.1 Warranty Basis
Warranty coverage for Solarvance-branded products is strictly defined by the official product datasheets or technical specifications applicable at the time of purchase, contract confirmation, or delivery. Any warranty period, scope, or limitation stated in the datasheet shall prevail.
2.2 Typical Warranty Periods (Reference Only)
Unless otherwise specified in the applicable datasheet:
- Battery Systems (LFP): typically 3–5 years, subject to operating conditions
- Charge Controllers & Inverters: typically up to 5 years
- Solar Panels: product warranty and performance warranty as defined in the relevant datasheet
Actual warranty terms may vary by product model and project configuration.
2.3 Operating Conditions
Warranty coverage is valid only when products are operated within specified parameters, including but not limited to:
- Rated voltage and current
- Designed depth of discharge (DoD)
- Approved charge and discharge profiles
- Environmental and temperature limits
Operation outside these conditions may void the warranty.
3. Third-Party Components Warranty
For components supplied by third-party manufacturers (such as branded solar panels, batteries, inverters, or other accessories), warranty coverage is provided directly by the original manufacturer.
- Warranty terms are subject to the manufacturer’s official warranty policy and datasheets
- Solarvance does not modify, extend, or replace the original manufacturer’s warranty
- Solarvance may assist customers in coordinating warranty claims with the manufacturer, where applicable
4. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage, failure, or performance issues resulting from:
- Improper installation, wiring, or commissioning
- Incorrect use, misuse, or operation beyond design limits
- Unauthorized modification, repair, or replacement
- Use of non-approved accessories or components
- Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage
- Transportation, storage, or handling damage after delivery
External factors including but not limited to:
- Lightning, flooding, fire, earthquakes
- Extreme weather conditions
- War, riots, or civil disturbances
5. Force Majeure
Solarvance shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, labor disputes, pandemics, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
6. Warranty Claim Procedure
To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must:
- Notify Solarvance in writing within the applicable warranty period
- Provide proof of purchase, delivery records, and product serial numbers
- Submit relevant installation records, photos, or diagnostic data as requested
Solarvance reserves the right to inspect, test, or request the return of the affected product before approving a warranty claim. Approved remedies may include repair, replacement, or an equivalent solution, at Solarvance’s discretion.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Solarvance’s liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product
- Solarvance shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of revenue, downtime, or project delays
- No other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are provided unless explicitly stated.
8. Governing Terms
This Warranty Policy is subject to revision without prior notice.
